Hey everyone! Our very last Funny Trees show in EKKO was awesome, we enjoyed it and were really happy to see everyone who showed up The bands played great sets, the afterparty was great, just couldn’t be better..

We want to thank everyone who attended the show, and any of our shows, and all our collegues, friends, bands, partners, teachers and family who made Funny Trees become so successfull. We enjoyed working in this company, but unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to give these bands all that they deserve. We promise we won’t stop supporting and promoting bands, it’s what we love to do! So I’m sure we will meet again someday.

These two years of Funny Trees were awesome, we learned so much, met so many nice people and had some wonderful experiences. Thanks so much for this, we will never forget it! See you very very soon,

Hi folks! A very sad announcement: the end of Funny Trees is near. In november of this year, Funny Trees will stop bookings & promoting our beloved indiescene. Both me and Victor ran out of time and energy to keep this car running. It’s been two wonderful years, we worked with the most amazing bands and people, so thank you so much for being part of our little bookings adventure!

Ofcourse, we can’t just fade into the mist. We will throw a big good-bye party in EKKO Utrecht at thursday nov 17th with the following line-up:

Confirmed! The British post-rock band Codes In The Clouds will return to the Netherlands after their succesful gig in 013 (Tilburg) in january. Rival Consoles is added as a support band for their European Tour.

Slow Boy

On the 21th of May, the Belgian band Lanfill will play a show during the Lefty Loosy evening at dB’s Utrecht.
The doors to the dB’s will open at 21:00 and Landfill will hit the stage at 21:30.

Tickets are available for €8,- at Village Coffee (Voorstraat 46) or for €10,- at the door!

The Olympic Symphonium from Canada have crossed the ocean to play a few shows on the mainland! Funny Trees booked 4 dutch shows:
